*Gasp* but this person who posted this comment doesnt have a good point of view stating GD is practically copying Lil Wayne if you haven’t noticed.. Lil Wayne can do it better than GD. Not hating on GD, love him, but his auto-tune is more obvious half the time. If not been noticed, the point of view is worse than expected..

Well, Lil Wayne debuted with Hot Boys being a rapper around the age of 14 in 1996, 5 years after he went to Cash Money Records in 1991. After many years with Hot Boys. Lil Waynes debut studio album, Tha Block Is Hot (1999), was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His next albums, Lights Out (2000) and 500 Degreez (2002), were certified gold. He reached higher popularity with Tha Carter (2004), which included the single “Go D.J.”, also appearing on Destiny’s Child’s top ten single “Soldier” that year. The album was followed by Tha Carter II (2005) and several mixtapes and collaborations throughout 2006 and 2007. Tha Carter III (2008) became Lil Wayne’s most successful album to date, with first-week sales of over 1 million copies in the United States. It included the number-one single “Lollipop”, as well as “A Milli” and “Got Money”, and won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.. . Lil Wayne’s debut rock album, Rebirth (2010), was certified gold despite a generally negative critical response. In March 2010, Lil Wayne began serving an 8-month prison sentence in New York after being convicted of criminal possession of a weapon stemming from an incident in July 2007. I Am Not a Human Being (2010) was released during his prison sentence. His ninth album and first since his release, Tha Carter IV (2011), sold 964,000 copies in its first week of availability in the U.S. It featured “6 Foot 7 Foot”, “How to Love”, and “She Will”.[1] On September 27, 2012, Lil Wayne passed Elvis Presley as the male with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with 109 songs.[2]

Gd started at SM, but changed record labels. At the age of 8 in 1996 (Which is when Lil Wayne was already debuted in Hot Boys) and after 6 years as a trainee, around 2000, (Lil Wayne already was popular and had hit songs) under YG Entertainment, He debuted in Big Bang.G-Dragon has been involved with writing, composing and producing many of Big Bang’s tracks, including “Lies”, “Last Farewell”, and “Haru Haru”… After several years with Big Bang. He released his debut solo album, Heartbreaker (2009), which yielded the number-one single of the same name. The album went on to become one of the most successful albums of the year, garnering sales of over 200,000 copies and winning the Mnet Asian Music Awards for Album of the Year. Heartbreaker also sparked major controversies for the artist, including accusations of plagiarism. After almost a year of hiatus, G-Dragon and bandmate, T.O.P collaborated to record and release the album GD & TOP (2010). The album saw the release of three singles: “High High,” “Oh Yeah,” and “Knock Out,” all of which have charted within the top three positions of the Gaon chart, with “High High” becoming a chart-topper. In 2012 (The Year of Our Lil Wayne and G-Dragon questions) G-Dragon released his second solo album, “One of a Kind,” with hit singles “One of a Kind,” “Crayon,” and “That XX.”.

Lil Wayne was already one of the most popular rappers by the time G-Dragon even went solo. G-Dragon was innocent and all before 2012 when “One Of A Kind” came out. Lil Wayne already had all the style, songs, dreads and personality before “One Of A Kind”. So Lil Wayne was hardcore Lil Wayne even before G-Dragon went ghetto. THIS SHOULD put down all the questions of “Did Lil Wayne copy G-Dragon?” If anything G-Dragon copied Lil Wayne..
