Slum Village Reveals Cover Art For ‘Evolution’ LP and Charity Initiative

Slum Village has revealed the cover art for their upcoming album The Evolution which is currently set to be released on June 25th. The group has also launched a campaign through Pledge Music to help finish off the album and raise money for the Lupus Foundation of America. The LP marks the groups 20th anniversary and follows the crews ‘The Dirty Slums’ mixtape series. Slum Village has announced some of the features for the project which will include Blu, Havoc, Raheem Devaughn, Jazzy Jeff, Rapper Big Pooh, Focus and more.

Fans can pledge $10 through Pledge Music to download the album before it official release, and the crew plans to donate a percentage of what they raise once they meet their goal.

Slum Village is also out on tour in support of the project and they’ve still have a number of European dates as well as several stops in Florida before the close out the concert series on July 26th.
