Coachella 2015 Lineup Announced

It’s that time of year again. It’s Coachella time! The music and arts festival will take place this year over two weekends, April 10-12 and April 17-19, in Indio, California. The festival has just announced its lineup this year to include AC/DC, Jack White, and Drake as the headliners.

It will also feature Azealia Banks, Flying Lotus, Raekwon and Ghostface, Lykke Li, Caribou, Todd Terje, Action Bronson, Cloud Nothings, The Weeknd, Belle & Sebastian, Ratatat, FKA Twigs, SBTRKT, Tyler the Creator, Father John Misty, the War on Drugs, Run the Jewels, Swans, Parquet Courts, Perfume Genius, Florence and the Machine, St. Vincent, Jenny lewis, Jamie xx, Lil B, Mac DeMarco, Built to Spill, Panda Bear, Angel Olsen, and more.

Ethiopia / Nāga // Old Money x Lamin Fofana

Old Money & Lamin Fofana collaborate in the first of a series of three releases for an examination of mysteries as articulated through fresh and distinct African-Caribbean lenses. Produced in the immigrant hub of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, “Ethiopia” and “Nāga” nods to black secret technology, ancient civilizations, Haile Selassie, and various strands of diasporic influences, all funneled through hard, 4th world electronics. The lush pads and regal horns of “Ethiopia” feels like the sky clearing for an arrival while “Nāga” conjures the esoteric leanings of Wu-Tang and Jay Electronica, the funky house sounds of London, and Nuwaubians selling What Will Happen In Y2K scrolls on Rockaway Parkway circa the mid-nineties.

Six Directions of Boxing // Wu-Tang Clan

“Six Directions of Boxing,” is the new Wu-Tang Clan track released from RZA’s The Man with the Iron Fists soundtrack. A deluxe edition of the Iron Fists soundtrack will be released as a massive, five-disc box. 300 of those ultra-packs will be produced, containing the soundtrack, instrumentals, the film’s original score, two discs of soundtrack-inspiring funk and soul rarities, colored double vinyl and posters.
